Envisioning the Future International (EFI) is the brain child of Ingrid Zacharias. Ingrid is the Managing Director of EFI. Ingrid is a well known founder, manager and mentor of non-profit organizations in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
She has worked in the non-profit and voluntary sector for over 20 years. Ingrid has a multitude of skill sets and areas of expertise in the non-profit sector. They are:
- Founded and managed 2 non-profit organizations over the past 13 years.
- Has written 100 plus grant proposals and has a 95% success rate at acquiring funding.
- Has developed hundreds of policies and procedures applicable to the non-profit sector.
- Mentored well over 50 people in the non-profit sector over the past 13 years.
- Staffed or participated on over 25 boards in the past 20 plus years.
- Partnered with hundreds of businesses, corporations, agencies, educational institutions, community organizations, non-profits, and funders in the past two decades.
- Was a member of committees that founded educational institutions, educational advisories, health agencies, community networks and coalitions.
- Has worked in cooperation with civic, provincial and federal governments to resolve community issues.
- Worked closely with grassroots movements and fledgling non-profits to overcome challenges facing them.
