There is a vast amount of knowledge on the internet. However, sometimes it is well hidden in obscure places. Our goal is to connect you to that useful information that will assist you in growing and sustaining your non-profit. The ”Helpful Links” will connect you to a variety of articles that are useful for the non-profit sector. These links will cover a variety of topics important to non-profit leaders and people working in the sector.
We will be adding links on a regular basis, so visit often to view new links as we add them.
When starting up a new non-profit, make sure that you set up your bank accounts so that every cheque written must have two signatures for it to be valid. This will keep your funds secure and prevent anyone from absconding with funds. I would also recommend that you have about 3 or 4 people authorized to sign checks, as this means the likelihood of someone always being available to sign when you need them, is increased tremendously.
