One of the things that we were told as we went out and visited with people working in the non-profit sector locally was that they wanted a listing of all the events happening in the non-profit sector. A one stop shop, where they could login and find out all of the new and exciting things that are happening.
So in response to this request, we have created a page for just that. This a members only section. You simply have to post your event in the “comments” section of the page and after it is approved, which should happen fairly quickly, it will show on the Events page and others will know about your event and have ample time to plan to attend your event. Please make sure you include:
- Name of Event
- Who is sponsoring it
- Date of the event
- Time of the event
- Location of the event and any specific instructions concerning parking, accessibility, etc.
- Cost if there is one and ticket purchase instructions
- Include a brief summary of what the event is about and any special instructions, such as: if people are supposed to bring a canned item for Harvest or the local food bank.
- Please include contact info about the event
